About the Role

The Coordinator of Liturgical Music is a member of the Parish staff with professional preparation and pastoral sensitivity to the celebration of Catholic liturgy and ritual and the importance of music to the liturgy. In conjunction with the Pastor, they provide leadership in the planning, execution, and celebration of all Parish liturgies, including music leadership by directing, planning, and coordinating the parish music programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and celebrate all Parish liturgies with a focus on music.
• Provide leadership in music direction, planning, and coordination of parish music programs.
• Collaborate with the Pastor in liturgical planning and execution.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in music or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in liturgical music or related area.
• Professional preparation and pastoral sensitivity to Catholic liturgy and ritual.

Pay

$28.00 to $30.00 hourly

Schedule

Part-time, 24 hours per week, benefit-eligible position.
