Coordinator of Leadership Operations
About the role
Reporting to the Vice President & Director of Athletics, the Coordinator of Leadership Operations provides high-level and strategic administrative support. The incumbent will perform a variety of complex administrative functions of a sensitive and confidential nature, coordinating schedules, events, and activities in a highly professional, efficient manner across a range of constituents. The Coordinator of Leadership Operations regularly works with a wide array of university-wide and external constituents at all levels, establishing and maintaining professional and productive working relationships as a representative of the Vice President & Director of Athletics.
The incumbent will manage the key initiatives identified by the Vice President & Director of Athletics and the Athletics executive leadership team. This individual will frequently serve as a representative for these groups to staff, coaches, student-athletes, campus partners, and external constituents. The Coordinator of Leadership Operations will also perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules, events, and activities across multiple constituents.
- Manage key initiatives identified by the Vice President & Director of Athletics and the Athletics executive leadership team.
- Serve as a representative for senior leadership to staff, coaches, student-athletes, campus partners, and external constituents.
- Perform complex administrative functions of a sensitive and confidential nature.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of one year of administrative support experience.
- Demonstrated computer experience to include full suite of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in writing and editing for high-profile communication.
- Experience supporting senior-level administrators.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Experience in executive operations in a college athletics setting at the NCAA DI/FBS level.
- Experience in interacting and working with high-level executives, coaches, student-athletes, and constituents.
Skills
- Ability to understand and uphold the mission and goals of the athletic department.
- Ability to manage multiple collaborative projects and systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Experience preparing agendas, reports, presentations, and other materials as well as follow up and facilitation of effective completion of pending priorities and matters.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference and University rules.

Salary Range: $41,250 - $55,000
