What You'll Do
- Drive Engagement Through Technology & Systems - Serve as the primary administrator of GetInvolvedMU, overseeing registrations, event submissions, engagement tools, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Manage Operational & Financial Processes - Help student organizations and campus partners with financial processes, managing budgets, reviewing requests, and supporting funding processes.
- Lead Assessment & Data-Informed Decision Making - Oversee engagement and belonging assessments, analyze trends, generate reports, and collaborate on enhancing student experiences and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop Training & Leadership Experiences - Create and deliver training programs for student leaders, organizations, and staff, and support major campus events like Orientation/UWOW, Maryville After Dark, and Homecoming.
- Support Signature Campus Programs - Collaborate with colleagues to support signature engagement initiatives and contribute to a vibrant student experience.
- Supervise & Develop Student Staff - Provide leadership and mentorship to Graduate Assistants, Graphic Artists, and student leaders, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistent service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree. Experience in student engagement, student organization advising, event planning, leadership development, or related areas.
- Knowledge of student development principles and student engagement practices. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops, trainings, or leadership development programs. Ability to leverage technology and engagement platforms.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Student Development or a related field. Experience with engagement and assessment platforms, and experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting engagement data.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000 annually. Actual compensation will be commensurate with education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
