Position Information

The Coordinator of Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) position at Oakland University's School of Medicine requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in higher education administration, accreditation support, program evaluation, institutional research, assessment, or quality improvement. A Master’s degree and three years of experience are preferred.

  • Collaborative working with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners to support shared goals and initiatives.

Position Details

The Coordinator of Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement coordinates institutional accreditation and CQI systems across the medical school. They support institutional compliance with LCME accreditation standards through coordination of accreditation processes; collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners to collect accreditation and CQI data; management, cleaning, and analysis of accreditation and CQI datasets; and maintenance of accreditation and CQI documentation and reporting systems. The position also serves as the Survey Visit Coordinator (SVC) for LCME accreditation site visits, coordinating logistics, documentation, and institutional communication related to the accreditation review process. The role integrates project management, both quantitative and qualitative data/statistical analysis, program evaluation, and stakeholder engagement to support institutional compliance, strategic decision-making, and sustained accreditation readiness.

Position Purpose

The Coordinator of Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement plays a crucial role in ensuring the medical school meets LCME accreditation standards. They collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and analyze data, manage datasets, and maintain documentation. Additionally, they oversee the logistics and communication for LCME accreditation site visits.
