Coordinator I Payroll

About the Role

The Coordinator I Payroll will assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Primoris Services Corporation, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This entry-level position supports the payroll department in various administrative and processing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection, verification, and entry of timekeeping data from various sources.
• Support the processing of weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payrolls, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations.
• Verify employee information, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
• Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping.
• Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
• Assist with the generation of various payroll reports as needed.
• Support the payroll team in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager or senior staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a payroll or administrative support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Basic understanding of payroll principles and regulations is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
