About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the employee lifecycle within the HRIS system (UKG), collaborates with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and various departments, and assists with process improvements and HR systems enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate new hire onboarding process including creating/sending welcome emails, completing I-9s and E-Verify, and maintaining spreadsheets related to orientation and benefits.
- Complete accurate data entry for all transactions in the HRIS system including data changes, new hires, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Work alongside HR Business Partners (HRBP) to meet the needs of employees of different business units across the enterprise.
- Prepare letters and change memos for data changes and promotions.
- Maintain organizational charts.
- Support timecard accuracy by auditing timecards each pay period and completing historical corrections.
- Run employee and time related reports as needed.
- Liaise with various departments (Payroll, IT, Finance) to create and maintain standard work documents (SOW) and detailed standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Support employees with HR related inquiries such as user log in issues, request for verification of employment, HRIS related questions.
- Maintain employee files to ensure all documents are timely and correctly electronically filed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience supporting an HR function, preferably in a data-oriented role, with experience as an HR Coordinator or similar position.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG, ADP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively support employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while following through on tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Pay
$30.00 - $34.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
Schedule
This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
