About the role

The role is an On-Site Coordinator Group Reservations at Fort Hood, TX.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone
• Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and tell them about ways to improve their stay
• Handle cash and credit transactions
• Check guests in and out, taking IDs, handing out room keys, and controlling and releasing safety deposit boxes
• Record and act on guests’ preferences, handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns
• Be a trusted contact for all guests, helping with bill issues and local knowledge, and looping in management when necessary
• Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear protective gear when needed
• Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador
• Stay informed about daily schedules and jump into other ad-hoc duties as needed

Requirements

• Fluency in the local language (not essential)
• Literate and tech-savvy (good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths, and computers)
• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a front desk or guest service position
• Strength to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

Pay
