Group Coordinator
The Group Coordinator is responsible for managing all reservations for groups, including meeting with planners and catering managers, room block monitoring, and client correspondence.
- Identify, block, and process staff and VIP lists.
- Review rooming lists for accuracy.
- Process room and dining reservations.
- Avoid errors in processing.
- Send confirmations and literature requests.
- Answer all reservations and communications.
- Follow wake-up call procedures.
- Handle emergencies.
- Attend preconvention meetings.
- Communicate with meeting planners.
- Work with Catering/Conference Services and Sales Managers.
- Maintain open communication channels.
- Handle administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Functions

Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education.
- Previous Reservations or Group Coordinator experience.
- Luxury hotel experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Delphi experience preferred.
- Attendance at all scheduled/mandatory training sessions and meetings required.
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
- Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, climb, listen, hear, and use manual dexterity.
- Must be able to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen.
Physical Requirements
- Most work tasks performed indoors.
- Temperature generally is moderate and controlled by Resort environmental systems.
- Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking and standing are occasionally required.
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Preferred
- Luxury hotel experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Delphi experience.
