About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual career advising to undergraduate engineering students.
- Support students in career exploration, internship and job search strategies, and professional development planning.
- Develop and maintain scalable career readiness resources and programming to support engineering students.
- Teach a career preparation course for engineering students (ITR 300).
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote career services, internships, and employer engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate with campus offices supporting career development and experiential learning.
- Participate in College and University events supporting prospective and current students, including admission events, orientation, student fair, and commencement activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for employers, alumni, and industry partners interested in engaging with the College of Engineering.
- Organize networking events, employer panels, and other employer-facing programming for the college.
- Facilitate connections between employers/industry partners and student organizations, faculty, and academic programs as appropriate.
- Engage alumni as mentors, speakers, and recruitment partners to support student career outcomes.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze data related to student career outcomes and employer engagement activities.
- Prepare reports and summaries to support College and University reporting needs.
- Track student participation in career programming and employer engagement activities.
- Represent the College on committees and working groups as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in career services, student advising, recruiting, employer relations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with undergraduate and/or graduate student populations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate programs and events.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse groups/populations.
