About the role
The Digital Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the direct-to-consumer storefronts of Southern Rose clients. This position involves handling a variety of tasks, including site merchandising, inventory management, product development, and digital marketing.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly online storefronts.
- Build products within Shopify backend.
- Curate product assortments based on client preferences, market trends, and sales data.
- Optimize product listings with compelling descriptions, high-quality images, and relevant keywords.
- Set up and create new store connections with warehouses.
- Connect social selling platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Shop) and customize as needed.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and warehouses to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Own the process of product arrival to warehouse, receipt, and putaway of product, and check inventory levels accuracy.
- Track product performance and identify slow-moving items.
- Implement inventory management best practices to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop new product lines and merchandise.
- Research and identify emerging trends in the music merchandising industry.
- Evaluate product viability and profitability.
- Manage the product development process from concept to launch.
- Work with our marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Optimize website for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility.
- Analyze website and marketing data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce or a related field.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Analytics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Knowledge of basic Shopify backend coding.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
