What Will You Be Doing?

The Deferred Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Manager, Maintenance Demand Planning & Analysis in the development and coordination of resolution actions for Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Configuration Deviation List (CDL), Non-Essential Equipment and Furnishings List (NEF), and Other Deferred Maintenance (ODM) items, to include extensive work scopes, repair and/or replacement of parts, assemblies, and aircraft structures compliance with 14CFR 121.628. Specifically, the Deferred Maintenance Coordinator ensures an Acceptable Level of safety (ALoS) by planning MEL/CDL/NEF/ODM repairs at the earliest practicable opportunity. The Deferred Maintenance Coordinator monitors, reports, and coordinates resolution actions to restore aircraft to type design by ensuring the parts, personnel, facilities, procedures, and schedules are within the prescribed deferral limits, company goals, and special requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
• 3 years of Airline or Transport Category Aircraft experience
• 3 years of experience interfacing with the MEL Manual for purposes of aircraft operations
• 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience in a Line Maintenance environment (Preferably on A320 series aircraft)
• Experience using Maintenance Information Systems (TRAX, AMOS, or similar) and Flight Operating System (Sabre, CAE, or similar)
• Maintain FAA Airman (A&P) ATMS Certification and Training Qualifications through F9 training
• Exceptional organization and communication skills
• Proficient in the following software products; Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Power BIMaintain FAA Airman (A&P) ATMS Certification and Training Qualifications through F9 training
• Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communications skills
• Independent worker capable of excelling in a highly demanding environment
• Dependable as demonstrated through regular attendance and punctuality, timeliness, and accurate completion of duties and tasks
