Allogene Therapeutics, headquartered in South San Francisco, is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering the development of allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T cell (AlloCAR T) products for cancer and autoimmune disease. The company is led by a management team with significant experience in cell therapy and is developing a pipeline of “off-the-shelf” CAR T cell product candidates.

About the Role

Allogene Therapeutics is seeking a highly organized and proactive Coordinator, Corporate Affairs to support activities across Corporate Affairs, Communications, Investor Relations, and Commercial/Competitive Intelligence. This role will enable effective internal communication, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and support the development of key corporate materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and interested in gaining exposure to multiple aspects of a clinical-stage biotechnology company. This is a hybrid position based in South San Francisco, CA, with remote work allowed up to 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Affairs & Internal Communications
    • Support development and execution of internal communications initiatives, including company updates, announcements, and internal content distribution and social media
    • Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting various communications materials
    • Coordinate Town Hall meetings and internal company events
    • Manage internal distribution lists and communications channels to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information
    • Support content organization and maintenance of internal communications platforms
  • Investor Relations Support
    • Coordinate development and updates of corporate materials, including corporate presentations and standard company decks
    • Assist with slide formatting, content updates, and internal review coordination
    • Support Investor Relations activities, including tracking and scheduling within platforms such as Capital Access
    • Assist with reporting, meeting coordination, and preparation of materials for investor engagements
  • Commercial & Competitive Intelligence (CI) Support
    • Provide project coordination support for competitive intelligence activities, working with internal teams and external vendors
    • Assist in coordinating CI deliverables such as internal digests, reports, and updates
    • Support planning and execution of conference coverage, including logistics, materials, and internal dissemination of insights
    • Manage and maintain internal content libraries and repositories for CI materials
  • Market Research Support
    • Support execution of market research projects in collaboration with Commercial and Business Insights teams
    • Coordinate with external agencies on timelines, materials development, and deliverables
    • Assist in organizing and communicating research insights to internal stakeholders
  • Cross-Functional & Administrative Support
    • Provide coordination support across Corporate Affairs, Communications, Investor Relations, and Commercial/Competitive Intelligence as needed
    • Assist with meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-ups
    • Help manage project timelines and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders
    • Maintain organized documentation and tracking of key projects and deliverables
    • Maintain team files and portals, including SharePoint
    • Assist with budget management
    • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Biological Sciences, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a corporate, agency, or biotech/pharma environment
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams)
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within established timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Interest in biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences preferred
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
