Coordinator, Brand Marketing
About the Role
As the Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will partner with the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing programs that drive brand objectives, strengthen consumer engagement, and accelerate growth for the Shiseido brand in the prestige beauty market. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, and key business initiatives that build brand awareness, equity, and sales. You will help ensure consistent and compelling execution across all consumer touchpoints while supporting the seamless delivery of brand experiences across retail, digital, and owned channels in the U.S. market.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and new product launches that drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and market share growth for the Shiseido brand.
- Partner with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager as a key liaison between Global Brand Holder and cross-functional teams, supporting requests related to product development feedback, seasonal planning, and business performance.
- Drive the coordination and execution of local seasonal gift sets, gift-with-purchase programs, and limited-edition initiatives, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely launch execution.
- Maintain and communicate the marketing calendar to ensure cross-functional alignment on launches, campaigns, retailer programs, and key deliverables.
- Manage new product setup and lifecycle maintenance, including item master creation, product extensions, formula updates, packaging revisions, regulatory requirements, and sustainability-driven changes, while facilitating effective communication and alignment across internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of creative briefs and marketing materials across omnichannel touchpoints, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand standards.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize competitive and market insights by leveraging consumer research tools to help support strategic marketing decisions related to product positioning, innovation opportunities, and pricing.
- Assist with forecasting and launch readiness activities, including SKU planning, POSM coordination, add/delete communication, and partnership with S&OP/NPD to ensure seamless product transitions and minimize inventory risk.
- Help prepare business analyses, performance reports, and internal presentations that track key KPIs and campaign results while identifying opportunities to optimize future marketing initiatives.
- Assist in the management and distribution of product assets, images, copy, and launch materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Support invoice processing to ensure accurate, timely financial management across brand marketing initiatives.
- Maintain the product closet, including inventory management, product ordering, and sample fulfillment.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, sample requests, and cross-functional product distribution needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
- Up to 2 years’ marketing experience in beauty, retail, or luxury environment. Related experience in sales, merchandising, events, or digital is a plus.
- Exceptional administrative, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, resourceful self-starter who executes with a strong sense of urgency and has the ability to manage various deadlines with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to embrace both big-picture thinking and attention to detail with impeccable follow-through and time management skills.
- Extremely organized with a proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage complex, changing priorities.
- Proactive, energetic, flexible, and positive team-oriented attitude with the ability to work with internal cross-functional departments or external retailers and agencies.
- Willingness to be hands-on with routine store visits, evening global calls, and in-person event preparation and participation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint skills.
- Passionate knowledge of current beauty marketing trends, media industry news, competitive marketplace, and retail innovation.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position may vary based on geographic location. Pay is based on several factors including knowledge, education, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, including a discretionary annual bonus.
