Coord-Patient Scheduler
Schedule
Schedule medical services for patients with other healthcare providers for assigned patient population.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services.
- Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
- Affirm that all medical appointments, special instructions and patient information is entered into electronic medical system.
- Follow site-specific protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Education High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Preferences
Scheduling Experience preferred. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Strong verbal/telephone skills.
