About the Role
Responsible for processing referrals and scheduling customer visits for all clinical disciplines. Act as liaison between current customers and clinicians as it pertains to service issues. Provide office support and act as a resource for team members, medical staff, and other professionals. Handle all patient registration activities including pre-registration and workers compensation insurance verification under general supervision following standard operating procedures. Actively contribute to an organizational culture committed to service excellence for all customer groups.
Responsibilities

- Perform patient registration activities, including pre-registration and workers compensation insurance verification.
- Organize the flow of work through the office effectively using problem-solving skills.
- Utilize computer information systems extensively.
- Interact effectively over the telephone and in person with patients, visitors, medical staff, and other personnel.
- Perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner to meet clinic staff and patient needs.
- Work successfully in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Support team members and work within a team setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Associate's degree or college coursework in business preferred.
- Computer proficiency and accurate typing skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Outlook preferred.
- Strong organization skills and ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with clinic environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with detailed information.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., opening software/email, navigating keyboard, logging in/out).
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to multi-task.
