Responsibilities
Run the day to day operation of assigned station in the kitchen.
Ensure that all food items are prepared to exacting standards.
Assist in creating and preparing menus items and specials.
Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the station.
Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
Avoid cross-contamination and follow proper food safety procedures.
Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Follow all guidelines for timely food service to guests.
Requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in kitchen/hotel operation or culinary school.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
This position requires the ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lb.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
This position requires an applicant with a good level of food knowledge and experience.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
