About the role

Cook hands-on production cooking for the Community Culinary Services Department. Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and presentation. Support a warm, hospitality-driven senior living environment. Represent the community in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and kitchen organization
• Prepare meals that meet nutritional and dietary requirements
• Follow menu cycles and prepare diets per policy and procedure
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and efficiency in cooking
• Assist with meal service and ware washing as needed
• Visit residents to evaluate food quality, temperature, and presentation
• Recommend improvements to enhance food service operations
• Support a culture that drives resident satisfaction and occupancy

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Culinary degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking experience
• Strong hospitality mindset and commitment to resident satisfaction

Pay

$17.50–$20.00/hr (based on experience)
