About the role

Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience are provided at all times. They work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures. Facility: WellBridge of Brighton, 2200 Dorr Road, Howell, MI 48843. Surrounding areas within a 15‑mile commute include Whitmore Lake, South Lyon, Howell, Milford, Pinckney, Wixom, Dexter, Hamburg, Hell, Crooked Lake, New Hudson, Hartland, Lakeland, Brighton.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, their families, and visitors
• Promote a positive, healthy environment through kind words and encouragement

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
• Team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support team members and get the job done

Pay

Starting wage $17.00 per hour plus $0.85 per hour Hero Pay = $17.85 per hour. Yearly wage increases are provided.

Full‑time position with 8‑hour shifts; no late nights. Scheduling can be accommodated to meet your needs.
