How You Will Help People Every Day
- Cook and prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
- Coordinate food production for up to 100+ guests to coincide with meal serving times
- Ensure excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance of meals
- Auxiliary tasks such as tray line setup and plate assembly
- Aid in daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, their families, and visitors
What you will need to be part of our EPIC team
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience required: 2+ years of experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
- Strong knowledge of food procedures
- ANSI-CFP (ServSafe) certified
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Effective communication skills with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
