Schedule

• Full-time position
• All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Day schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Afternoon schedule: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• No late nights

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food production for up to 100+ guests to coincide with meal serving times, ensuring excellence in quality, temperature, and appearance
• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors
• Work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus
• Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures
• ANSI-CFP (ServSafe) certification
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
• Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done
