About the role

The hospital is a critical illness recovery facility dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. The role involves providing compassionate, excellent care to patients and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
• Follow nutritional services and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards

Requirements

• One (1) year of cooking experience
• High School degree or equivalent preferred
• Culinary Arts degree preferred
• Completion of a state or local food safety-training course

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects

Skills

• Knowledge of culinary arts
