About the role

The hospital is a critical illness recovery facility dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. The role involves providing compassionate, excellent care to patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
• Follow nutritional services and regulatory requirements
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards

Requirements

• One (1) year of cooking experience
• High School degree or equivalent
• Preferred: Culinary Arts degree, completion of a state or local food safety-training course, healthcare experience

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Attention to detail and ability to adhere to health and safety protocols
