About the role
This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Pick up shifts at both Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.
- Prepare food for patients and the cafeteria.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control.
- Stay informed of nutritional services and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- One (1) year of cooking experience is required.
- A High School degree or equivalent is preferred.
- A Culinary Arts degree is preferred.
- Completion of a state or local food safety-training course is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
- Food preparation skills.
- Equipment cleaning and maintenance skills.
- Compliance with nutritional services and regulatory requirements.
Benefits
- Eligible for 401k after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.
Pay
$17.50 per hour
