Cook - PRN
Position Purpose
The Cook supervises the hot food production and other areas for the hospital's Dietary Department. As a “Cook” You Will Ensure meal service demands are met and customer approval ratings are high. Participate in creating menus, purchasing foods, controlling food costs and maintaining a sanitary work environment. Demonstrate leadership skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent, formal training in food preparation preferred
- 3-5 years experience
- Proven culinary skills
- Some training in food preparation
- Good interpersonal skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities
- Organizational and planning skills to coordinate all areas of food production
