About the role

The Garde Manger cook at Hyatt Regency Reston is responsible for preparing and executing banquet foods in a high-end and fast-paced environment. This position requires good communication and culinary skills, with a focus on efficient service and meaningful guest experiences.

  • Work single station in the kitchen.
  • Perform all basic cooking skills.

  • Stand for long periods of time.

Requirements

  • 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Able to perform all basic cooking skills.
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Skills

  • Good communication skills.
  • Professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.
