About the role

The cook will prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, staff and visitors under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Coordinator/Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follows correct food preparation and handling procedures.
• Performs a variety of cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Jefferson: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.
• St. Louis/South: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire.
• Springfield: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.
• Washington: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred Licensure: Not specified.
• Preferred Experience: 90 days experience in hospital food service.
