About the role
Seeking a dedicated Cook/Dietary Aide responsible for preparing meals, snacks, and ensuring the efficient operation of the Dietary Department. The role includes cooking according to menus and dietary spreadsheets, packaging and labeling food items, and delivering supplies using company vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and snacks while meeting specific dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness of dietary areas and equipment
- Set up and serve meals in designated facilities
- Participate in in-service training and support catering functions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to read recipes and follow dietary guidelines
- Willingness to be cross-trained
- Preferred experience in food preparation, serving, or customer service
- Must possess valid driver’s license and required clearances
