About the role

This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • No formal education required
  • Food Handler license within 180 days
  • 2 or more years of food service experience preferred

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Serve Safe Certification

Other

  • Excellent integrity
  • Takes initiative
  • Good moral character
  • Effectively communicate in English, both orally and written
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Great interpersonal skills

Equipment Used

  • All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer
  • Able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds
