About the Role
This is a part-time, event-based position primarily running from April to September, with additional opportunities during the winter festival and special events in the offseason. As a Senior Cook at CarMax Park, home of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, you'll prepare food to ensure it's nutritious and properly flavored, adhering to federal, state, local, and company standards.
Responsibilities
- May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
- Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
- Operate and clean equipment after each use.
- Perform scheduled routine cleaning.
- Store, label, and date food items according to policy.
- Help maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products.
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply.
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
- Assist in the cross-training of employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
