About the role
Our Panda Shift Leaders are key members of our team, responsible for fostering a welcoming environment and supporting management in delivering exceptional food, service, and ambiance.
Responsibilities
- Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Gain valuable skills in managing store operations and leading the team during shifts.
- Gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.
- Develop a diverse set of skills to enhance your own and your team's capabilities.
Qualifications
- Some high school education.
- Preferred experience in operations.
- Food Safety: Acquire local/municipal certifications, such as Food Handler, at your own expense.
- ADA Statement: Counter areas can be hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspaces are restricted, and employees are expected to stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noisy, with limited storage space and high shelving. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to dynamic situations, and manage conflicts.
