Our Panda Shift Leaders are key figures in our team, fostering a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests through their support of management in creating delicious food, providing heartfelt service, and maintaining a proud ambiance.
Responsibilities
- Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Gain valuable skills managing store operations and leading the team during the shift.
- Gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.
- Gain a diverse range of skills to develop yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Some high school education.
- Prioritize some operations experience.
- Food Safety: Acquire local/municipal Food Handler certifications at your own expense.
ADA Statement: Workspaces can be hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workstations are confined, and employees are typically required to stand for extended periods. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knives and other kitchen equipment, and work quickly without sacrificing accuracy. They must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across counters at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noisy, with limited storage space and high shelving.
Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and handle conflicts and difficult situations.
