About the role
Consistently prepares breakfast, lunch, or dinner to standards established by the Executive Chef. Ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly. Assists in the training of new Cooks. Completes daily checklist and production charts as directed by your supervisor. Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers or fellow team members. Performs any and all duties as assigned by your Manager or a member of management.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of two years experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to identify all products used in kitchen operations and recognize spoiled or questionable products
- Ability to read, comprehend, and execute recipes
- Must be able to stand for a full shift and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
- Must be able to perform physical tasks: stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, or smell
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course

Pay
Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is one component of a competitive Total Rewards package.
