Responsibilities
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while utilizing safe food preparation practices.
- Communicate effectively with all sorts of interesting people.
- Must be able to read recipes and follow measurement instructions accurately.
- Regularly taste, touch, and/or smell products utilizing appropriate methods to ensure quality and consistency.
- Inspect presentation quality and expedites the line as needed.
- Have the ability to work any station in the culinary area if required to do so.
- Maintain workstation and equipment safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain walking coolers, freezer, and dry storage clean, organized, and in accordance with proper sanitary food conservation.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Qualifications
- This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
- Bring two years of culinary training or related kitchen experience.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment.
- Food Handler certification required.
- The best part about food is enjoying it with others.
- Must be able to read recipes and follow measurement instructions accurately.
