Cook (Hourly)
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of foods including soups, sauces, meats, fish, vegetables, baked goods, etc.
Supervise kitchen staff in the storage, preparation, cooking and dispensing of food.
Clean and sanitize kitchen facilities, utensils and equipment.
Qualifications
- Three years of experience in large-scale cooking.
- Large scale is defined as 300 meals daily.
Background Investigation
- All prospective employees will be investigated through a Criminal Background Check (CBC).
- All prospective employees will be screened against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR).
- For Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY) prospective appointees will be checked against the Staff Exclusion List (SEL).
