About the role
Prepares food for patients, staff, visitors, and special events while maintaining excellent customer service. The work environment is primarily office‑based.
Responsibilities
- Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner using standardized recipes and methods.
- Document food preparation and usage according to standards.
- Ensure all quality, safety, and sanitation protocols are followed, including proper wrapping, storage, and labeling.
- Read and interpret patient meal tickets, verify patient identifiers, recipes, ingredients, labels, and dates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior food service experience is advantageous.
Skills
- Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide quality customer service.
Schedule
Rotation includes weekends and holidays.
