Role Overview The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that enhance residents' dining experiences in a safe and organized kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menusEnsure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standardsFollow dietary modifications and special meal requirementsRecord production quantities and food safety temperaturesStock, rotate, date, and store food adhering to safety regulationsMaintain cleanliness of kitchens, storage, and equipment areasComplete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reportsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelinesSupport dishwashing and dining services as neededLead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator Qualifications & Skills Ability to prepare meals according to recipes and dietary needsKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standardsStrong organizational skills for inventory and cleanliness managementAbility to support team efforts and step into leadership roles when necessary This role focuses on creating enjoyable and safe dining experiences while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
