About the Role

This individual is responsible for food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye-appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Execute food production using various methods of cookery.
• Produce high-quality, visually appealing food products within time constraints.
• Operate all food preparation equipment, including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer.
• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 pounds, and pinching up to 10 pounds.

Requirements

• Obtain Food Handlers certification within 90 days of hire (location-specific: Jefferson or Springfield).
• Excellent integrity and strong moral character.
• Basic math skills and effective time management.
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative.
