About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative chef to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and innovation are valued.

Responsibilities

• Compose and prepare scratch made dishes under the guidance of the Chef de Cuisine
• Collaborate with other culinary professionals to develop new menu items
• Ensure dishes meet Epic’s commitment to healthy, sustainable options
• Work with different venues and equipment to gain diverse culinary experiences
• Prepare meals for catered events and assist in event planning
• Take ownership of the food preparation process, ensuring dishes are delicious and visually appealing

Requirements

• 3+ years cooking in a professional kitchen
• Culinary Arts degree preferred, but not required
• Fine dining, large-volume experience is a plus
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Live within 45 minutes of Epic's Campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate

Location

The position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
