Cook/Chef

About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative chef to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and innovation are valued.

Responsibilities

• Compose and prepare scratch made dishes under the guidance of experienced culinary professionals.
• Contribute to the development of new menu items, both traditional and innovative, to meet guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Collaborate with other culinary staff to ensure consistency and quality across all Epic locations.
• Assist in managing inventory and maintaining food safety standards.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Work closely with the operations team to plan and execute catering events.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional cooking experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
• A Culinary Arts degree is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in fine dining or large-volume kitchens is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI.

Pay

$25.00 per hour, with potential for annual raises and bonuses.

Schedule

Daytime Monday-Friday hours (typically 7am - 3pm).
