About the Role
The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle, recipes, and production sheets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to approved menu cycles and recipes.
- Follow production sheets to ensure proper meal service.
- May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in quantity cooking preferred.
- Basic knowledge of modified diets.
- Training in food service sanitation and possession of a food handler’s permit as required.
- Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Some prior kitchen supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have or be able to obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card.
