Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and plating food items following our specifications and following health department standards
- Working safely and identifying potential safety hazards
- Cleaning the work area and various areas of the kitchen
- Putting ingredients and other supplies away when delivered
- Maintaining the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils and tools
- Stocking merchandise and putting away deliveries
- Performing kitchen duties including slicing, chopping, broiling and grilling
- Communicating openly with management regarding any work-related concerns
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least 6 months kitchen experience
- Able to multi-task with a strong attention to detail
- Can adapt to change easily
- Is approachable and proactive
- Able to problem solve
- Able to work in elevated temperatures
- Able to work in confined areas
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Able to have continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching and twisting
