Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form.
• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.

Requirements

• Obtain Food Handler's card.
• Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Qualifications

• One year of cooking experience preferred.
