Job Summary
Menorah Park is seeking a full-time Cook, variable shift, every other weekend off to provide quality cooking services in their dietary services department. This role is located in Syracuse, New York and pays an hourly rate of $20.99 to 21.63.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in the preparation of meals.
- Ensure food preparation practices comply with all applicable safety requirements, protocols, and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
- Perform general duties of kitchen organization, sanitation, food safety, and pricing.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of meals.
- Adhere to established sanitation regulations, food safety procedures and department rules, policies, and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- 2+ years cooking experience in a high volume kitchen preferred but not required.
- Food Handler's Certification/Permit preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures and temperature control.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
