About the role

Rolling Green Village is currently searching for Cooks to join their friendly, caring, and supportive team. The position is located in Nevada, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs.
• Ensure the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures.
• Follow recipes for preparing large volumes of food.
• Provide residents with a pleasant and safe dining experience.

Requirements

• A tenth (10th) grade education is required.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of kitchen procedures and equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare large volumes of food.
