Responsibilities

  • Prepare and follow Holiday recipes to prepare nutritious, appetizing, and attractive meals for residents.
  • Oversee preparation and set-up of serving carts to serve food in a punctual and attractive manner.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and proper procedures for covering, labeling, dating, and storing food.
  • Accurately complete logs in a timely manner, including refrigerators, freezers, and production sheets.
  • Follow Holiday sanitation standards by cleaning preparation and serving areas, pots and pans, kitchen surfaces, walls, and floors according to appropriate schedules and charts.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and address any food-related issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in industry or full-service restaurant cooking.
  • Effective communication in English and excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
