About the role
Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to planned menus, dietary guidelines, and portion standards.
- Ensure meals are appetizing and well-presented.
- Follow recipes and accommodate special dietary needs.
- Provide meal substitutions and bedtime snacks as needed.
- Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safe storage.
- Assist with food prep for facility events.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospital, or nursing home food service preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
