JOB SUMMARY

The Cook at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is responsible for preparing and serving food in the Fuel American Grill restaurant. This position requires excellent kitchen skills and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and food preparation guidelines.
• Ensure food items are cooked to proper temperatures and served promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with food production and service during peak hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proficiency in using cooking equipment and appliances.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Standing for extended periods.
• Walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
• Repetitive hand movements such as reaching, grasping, and fine motor skills.
• Working in a fast-paced environment with high noise levels.
• May be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, grease, and odors.
