About the role
Beehive Retirement Community, our beautiful community located in McCleary, WA has a current opening for a Cook.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper nutrition for residents
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs
- Work evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Available to work evenings & weekends
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid Food Handlers Permit (or be able to obtain one upon hire)
- Able to stand, move, bend, and kneel through shift; able to lift 35 pounds or more routinely
- Prior experience in long-term care is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant role is preferred
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds or more routinely
