About the role
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and taking pride in preparing quality food? Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cooks to join our friendly team at Guernsey Airport.
Responsibilities
As a Cook, you will be an important part of our airport catering operation, helping to deliver high-quality food and excellent service throughout the day.
- Preparing breakfasts, lunches, sandwiches and paninis
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking duties
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Receiving and organising deliveries
- Ensuring excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Cleaning and maintaining all kitchen areas
- Supporting colleagues during busy service periods
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Successful applicants will:
- Have a good command of English
- Be reliable, organised and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Hold valid Guernsey residency and live in private accommodation (accommodation is not provided)
- Have the right to work in Guernsey
- Be willing to undergo a police disclosure check
- Be able to provide a continuous 5-year employment and/or education history to obtain an airport security pass

Schedule
Full-time and part-time contracts available, minimum 35 hours per week, with a flexible rota and straight shifts. Some early morning starts may be required.
