Cook Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Dietary Team Member to support daily food service operations in accordance with facility policies and IDPH regulations. This role helps ensure residents receive high-quality meals that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve appetizing meals promptly and according to schedule
• Assist with safe food preparation and infection control procedures
• Deliver and set up food carts, trays, and steam tables
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
• Wash and properly store dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Manage waste removal and ensure supplies are stocked for upcoming meals
• Assist with receiving and storing food and inventory

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (unless otherwise approved by the administrator)
